second post!!!!

Hi all,
I am back, with a new experience today. Now I am going to share one of the best experiences of my life, the topic I cover today is "grab the opportunity”. In life we have to grab the opportunities, always opportunities count as a stepping stone in your life. You are benefited or not, opportunities you choose will be the source of experience in life.
I chose engineering as my profession; in contrast music chose me as a profession. It was not a cakewalk for me to sail the vast ocean of my life. I was sailing two boats at the same time. I had a dream of building home studio that led me to one of the music director, Gopi keshavan sir home (he is one of my teachers elder brother). That day I saw a mentor in him. Irony was he never saw me or any of our friends, but we never felt that we are in someone else house that day; they treated us as their own children’s friends. He was the first cause in understanding some of the basic requirements of home studio. He has his own home recording studio where he shows us how to interconnect the components. But this was not all of waiting for me that day, Gopi keshavan sir left music industry some years ago and he is concentrating on his research (solar energy). Next thing he did was calling young and energetic music director G. Haricharan koushik sir. He has him own music studio in mahalakshmi layout Bangalore where he shows us still more complicated recording instruments and recording procedures. Now the real story starts, 2 of us were singer in the group. We asked him to record a bit of our song as it was everyone’s desire to sing in a music studio. He was generous; He let us sing a song.
I sang my all time favorite “tum hi ho”. Next thing after recording he praised me I have a good voice and took my phone number assured that he will call me if any opportunity is there. Opportunity comes on the day when I was writing first exam of my 5th semester engineering exam. I got a message from him stating “I have an opportunity for you”. I have to salute to his patience. He waited until my exams are over. In holidays me and my bro ganesha, he was senior in my college who accompanied me in every recording. First day recording started that was my first recording studio experience. Once again I have to salute to the patience of Haricharan sir. I felt nervous as it was my first recording not for an album but for a movie. I would be entering KFI after its release. Sir mentored me well. Whenever I felt nervous he would know that I am nervous from bit recordings. Then from his life experience he told me something I never forget in my life. He gave me how practice makes man perfect. He gave the example of the singing legend S.p.balasubramanyam. One time Haricharan sir was recording a song with S.P.B sir, in one take the song was completed. Haricharan sir asked him how this was even possible the replay from S.P.B sir was because of practice and dedication he has towards music and he added that in his first song recording he took more takes as I was taking because of nervousness. This story Haricharan sir told me to counter my nervousness. These words from a music director gave me strength and recording continued. Then the recording was completed after three long consecutive Sundays because I have college to attend in weekdays. Recording was done in morning time around 6am. But the film shooting was not started and film was stopped.
Nut the experiences I had in music studio the mentoring tips from Haricharan sir and gopi keshavan sir changed my way of performing on stage. Today whenever I feel nervous on stage first thing coming to my mind is of S.P.B. Even The stars look like sparkling from distant earth. Every human does mistake so just enjoy the performance. If I enjoy performing then surely the one who is listening enjoys and dances with the music. So whenever anyone sings; you sing from your heart.
Now I conclude what are all the things I learnt
  • Practice makes man perfect; not worrying about perfectness.
  • What are all the experiences in life you have to share so it will help other; as I am doing now by writing blog, as Haricharan sir and Gopi Sir helped my understanding of recording and basics of singing in a studio.
  • Always remember example of kite the amount of distance covered will make you small for the loved once. Be simple whatever may be you achievements and your state. Always try to help others.
  • “Work is worship”, worship the work you do in life the opportunity will be at your doorstep and success at your lawn.
  • Always grab opportunities in life as I did. It will help you in experiencing life.
  • Enjoy the life; not concentrate more on how to enjoy it. Just accept life as it comes.

In my next post I will share my views on education system and the experiences as a student.

ME (IN SHORT) and some experiences in life

Hi all,
I am also excited for my first blog post as you guys are!
what will be my first blog post???
obviously its about "MUSIC".
what music had taught me????
music taught me to face the crowd. It taught me to face the difficulties in life.It taught me not to give up.It taught me to concentrate on my goals. It taught me to practice well to achieve goal.It taught me to try and try again.
Believe me music has taught me the things we can't learn though education. Music taught me to accomplish all my goals in a musical way.
I was an introvert by nature.I won't like roaming, making more friends.I am kind of reserved and will choose friends with care. But as i said i was an introvert not now. This change over happened because of music and my way of learning from experiences.
The change over i made is mostly on some of my introvert skills and not all.some of my introvert is in me and it protects me from problems.
The new trend these generation kids have,we can call it as intro-extrovert skill.In some places i behave as a introvert and in some places i behave as an extrovert, that keeps me away from problems.
My close friends know i am an extrovert but rest of the world know me as an introvert.
As all of the students face depression as a main problem these days. They will take English medicines but the real available medicine for depression is in nature.Thats true!!!!
Parents these days want their kids to be engineer or doctor and will force them to study the same.As a parent their view is right but in order to accomplish it most of the parents will make their just to concentrate on studies and will not encourage them for extracurricular activities. So the youths of today face depression and will take wrong steps in life.If they are given priority to choose their field and let them learn something new like musical instruments(guitar, keyboard, drums) or let them play sports or let them write essay, they will not face depression in their life.because these will teach them to be confident, never to loose hope and to be strong in their choice.why i said all these?????
My parents never made me to study forcibly i choose my profession and now i am pursuing last year engineering and i have scored distinction in all the semester. This was possible because of what i learnt from above said experiences.through my experience i advice all the parents to let your child explore and learn new things so they will not think of negatives(love, smoking, affection towards other bad things) in life.If i take my life as an example "I love music" which will keep me away from falling in love with person, it helped me in moving in the direction of "success".
I will continue about my experience of music in next post.
thank you all.
Hope you like my first blog post "My experience with message".
